I really like practicing yoga after a good run. I helps me to get an awesome stretch and it helps me to wind down. Did I mention it helps me to relax also. Running gets me worked up so this is a great way to come down. I must admit yoga is not for the faint at heart. It is much harder than it looks. I have noticed that if I can do a short session it helps to keep the soreness down to bare minimum. I still have a long way to go when it comes to yoga, but I do enjoy it……when it is over. 🙂
It is hard to tell, but I am sweating profusely. That was a tough session. Oh well, I know what needs to be done if I want to be successful for my half marathon training.
