Having Fun with Our New Veggie

I love trying new food.  Today Hasseeb (Top Picture) brought us some of the local cucumbers.  Simon (the Kenyan in the picture says they have a case of malnutrition.)  🙂  They were actually very good.  They taste like small versions of the English cucumber.  As you can see we all enjoyed them.

This one is a keeper. Rahimullah (Top Right) & Obaidullah (Bottom Right) joined us.

Unfortunately I am limited by my location, but you know what that just means I have to be more creative and open minded. It is wonderful to work with a diverse group of people. I learn something new every day. I try to have fun all the time. I make sure I laugh everyday. Thanks for you comments. I really appreciate it.

  2. That cucumber is awesome! It reminds me of the plant from Little Shop of Horrors…in a good way!

I have seen them before being sold by some vendors on the side of the road. I was thinking the same thing as you. They look like they came from another planet. Even though they look weird they taste like regular ole cucumbers. Whod a knewd! By the way I love that movie. I must have seen it a gazillion times and I know all the words to the songs. 🙂

I would luv, luv, to hear from you! :)
